Our Sunflowers

Welcome to The Sunflower Rooms (3-4 year olds)

Our Sunflowers continue to grow and learn in a relaxed, fun-filled and busy environment. The rooms remain homely and provide the resources necessary to extend your child's learning further and to teach them the skills they will need for when they move onto school. The children benefit from participating in both smaller and larger group times, where a ratio of 1 adult for 8 children is applied. Our daily routines include in the moment planning , for each individual child to stimulate and challenge them as we extend their interests and expand their understanding of the world.

We provide Forest School sessions on and off the nursery site led by qualified Forest School Practitioners, as the whole nursery recognises the value of outdoor learning. The children access activities such as using real tools, campfires, bush-craft and natural den building, whilst benefiting from the child-led and unhurried forest school ethos.

We celebrate our children for their brilliance every day and this ensures they go on to thrive and succeed as they leave us to start school. The team are highly experienced in preparing families for this next step and will support you along the way to ensure that this transition is smooth. We work very closely with our local schools to make this experience a positive one for everyone involved.

After School Club

We provide an After School Club for 4-11 year olds, in conjunction with Boston Pioneers Free School, from 3.15pm to 6.00pm term-time only, please contact the nursery or the school for details. Our fees are 8.00 per session.

Tiny Tots Group

Our Tots Group is held in the nursery every Tuesday morning from 9.30-11.30am in term-time.

Holiday Club

Our holiday club runs flexibly during every school holiday, except when we are closed over the Christmas period. Our fees are 25.00 for a full day and 15.00 for a half day. Please contact the nursery for full details.
